AIDS Symptoms

AIDS/HIV patients do not show any symptoms on getting exposed to virus however within 3-6 weeks flu-like sickness termed as Acute HIV Syndrome can be seen. The acute AIDS symptoms may include headache, fever, nausea, tiredness, inflamed lymph node and diarrhea etc. and such symptoms do not last for longer duration. The acute AIDS symptoms may get confusion with symptoms of some other viral infections. At this stage number of virus in the body is quite large and spread to other organs in the body basically to the lymphoid tissues.

The probability of spread of the infection to other persons is very high at this stage. The severe symptoms may not be visible for a longer period but during this period the virus multiplies actively. The later AIDS symptoms are quite critical the patient may suffer the problems of recurrent sweating and fever, weight loss, loss of appetite, lack of energy etc. and symptoms of different chronic and fatal diseases. The AIDS symptoms are not distinguishingly observed because different diseases may be accompanied. Due to weakened immune system by the AIDS/HIV virus different diseases are associated with AIDS symptoms.
